You’ve got to see this real life documentary adventure about 5 young people that set off on a sailing trip of a lifetime; not everything goes according to plan, even when the skipper is Jesse Martin, who was the “youngest person in history to sail around the world solo when he was 18, back in 1999”, some of you might remember him sailing back home into Port Philip Bay.

Jesse was part of our mAdventure trip to Antarctica in Feb 2008 and has been a guest motivational speaker at a few of our seminars and put together a short film capturing the most awesome moments of our Antarctic “expedition” and shows his expertise when it comes to filming. You’ll love it, have a look -

Jesse has been pursuing adventures aboard sailing boats for as long as he can remember, & now he has captured on film, the reality of sailing in search of paradise and the confronting reality of the vicious seas as his real life drama unfolds, and he & his 4 best friends get lost at sea!

Come on and support Jesse & be part of this first screening of the Australian Premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival, Sunday August 2nd at 12.45pm at the Greater Union Cinemas, Russell St, Melbourne. Pre purchase your tickets from the link below, as tickets can only be purchased on the day at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne which is a fair walk from the Greater Union Cinemas. Looking to Buy?

Some factors to consider:

  1. What? Are you looking to buy to occupy or for investment? Do you want an apartment or a house?
  2. Where? Which areas do you like or love? Close to work, city, mum and dad, relatives, and friends?
  3. How? Have you saved up for a deposit 10% at least? How much money can you borrow? Speak with some finance brokers to get the best deals. How will you service the loan? Regardless of what advertisements tell you that you do not need any money of your own to start to buy, I strongly suggest that you start saving and accumulate a substantial deposit as this will help in the long run. You need to be ahead of all your …Read More

aflThe AFL season is coming to the business end; finals are on the radar, teams are trying to qualify for the biggest month on the calendar and two teams will eventually play on the last Saturday of September one will come out as PREMIERS!!! While the AFL has its biggest month ahead, the Real Estate industry is preparing for their big stage as well with Spring only around the corner, and where real estate agencies prepare for their time to shine on the big stage.

Over the last few weeks I have been doing some thinking about the process of buying property, I was trying to think of some similarities that could relate to this. The similarity I came up with was an AFL football match.

This is one of the biggest games of your life, you have prepared all week for this big moment coming up, and you have set your sights …Read More

How do you feel when you first step into someone’s home? What are the vibes? Is it warm or is it cold? Is it bright or dark? Is it happy or sad? What do you smell? What do you see? What do you think? These thoughts happen in a split second. You get an impression, a perception, a feeling, of what the home and the occupiers are like. Then you start to make a decision, you like, you love, you don’t, you hate, or all you want to do is just get out of the place…

These considerations are important. You have one chance to make a great first impression especially when you …Read More

Clutter is distracting. Would you agree?

Have you ever thought that this is also a reflection of how you feel inside? If your mind is cluttered with thoughts it is hard to get perspective. When your home is cluttered with “stuff” it is hard to find what you want, hard to relax, and wind down at the end of the day. Are you starting to get my drift?

Are your thoughts all over the place? Is your home a battle zone? Are you always telling yourself I’ll get around to “one day”?

How and when will I get my bond back?

Jul

Once you have given notice to vacate the property manager will be on contact with you to arrange a final inspection with you. Here they check that the property is in a reasonably clean standard and if there is any damage done to the property. If it is not in a reasonable clean standard you will have to go back and clean it and once this is to a reasonable standard you will receive a bond claim form. Here you will need to complete the form and then the agent will send it to the RTBA. If all the details are filled out correctly …Read More
